 to make onion juice, cut white onion fine, mix a teaspoon of sugar and leave it for an hour. you will get the juice. give it only once a day, for not more than 3 days. alternately, you can give turmeric mixed in warm milk and sugar or turmeric mixed with honey. do not do all the remedies at the same time.

 really cough n cold to kids make everyone feel ill. i tried with my baby as suggested by elders. take 1-2 teaspoons of onion juice and add same quantity of honey to it. give it twicw a day atleast upto mora than a week. cough will surely come out from nose dont worry seeing it as cough needs some way to go out. it will come out from nose day after day or sometimes if kids vomit u can see cough. this is a sure remedy do try it.

 my son who is now a year old,use to get frequent cough which resembles bronchitis. it use to last atleast fortnight.we changed various medicines, various doctors and treatments from alopath to homeopath and then ayurved. later our doc. found that he is alergic to dust and pollution and so develops clogh then cold which increases within 2 -3 days it becomes worst. doc.treated him with alergic medicines, no expectorants and nebulisation with nasal drops to relieve him at nights. it worked and he recovered in 10 days time. so plz. ask ur doc. to judge this symptom in your child so that he may not become an experimental tool.

 the best remedy for nocturnal cough: vidangarish (you get his in the pharmacy).. take 1 tpsp and mix with 2 tbsp warm water.. give everyday before going to bed.. cough / worm trouble will be cured..

 i am sorry that your child is suffering from a cough. it is both an irritating and painful condition.a cough is good for the body because it is eradicating the germs/virus from your child's system. try to offer suppresants like cough mixtures only at night to help the child sleep because you need the cough to take its course and if you suppress the cough it might lead to a congesting chest, which is much worse. during the day offer teaspoons of honey and lemon, ice to suck, both these things will spooth the throat.hope your child gets beeter soon.

 if your child has cold/cough pls do not rush to give medicines at the first go.let the body mechanism tke care of the disease there r several point to tke note. 1.cold is caused by virus.there is no medicines which can cure cold and cough. 2.the medicines availabe give temporary relief and inturn damage the body's self defense mechanism. 3.d not give cold and cough medicines .if ur child is suffering from runny nose,its a good sign..the vius has some way to come out of the body.giving meicines just dry up the secretions. 4.give lots of water...more than the amt the child takes regularly..water is the best source of flushing out the virus either from stool or urine. 5.u can try honey,lime n warm water mixture...lime acts as a disinfectant on the virus n honey smoothes teh throat. 6.its a personal experience,that by giving cough n cold medicines we spoil our childrens health in the long run. 7.u can give hot soups like chicken n vegetable soup.

 the best remedy for these sort of recurrering cough as per home remedy. used 10-15 tulsi leaf juice mix with pure honey (the honey should be a bit pre heated as per the level of tolerance) add the tulsi leaf juice 2-3 times a day the last one should be just before going to bed. this can be used with 50% honey 50% dates syrup. for long standing nose and sinus blockage

 to all of those mothers who have babies under the age of 1 years old and they have a cough, do not give your babies any honey. honey is not recommended because you child could develop a severe allergy to it. wait until they are over one.
